Dean M. Schreyer, Esq Joins Get Your Justice Live Host Lary Holland
Dean Schreyer, an attorney out of San Diego isn’t your average attorney. First off, he isn’t a mother’s rights attorney and he certainly isn’t a father’s right’s either. Well we opened up asking him just what kind of attorney he was. He describes himself as a Children’s Rights attorney and that parents don’t have rights in the common sense, but rather the exclusive authority to exercise parental authority over the children and likewise that children have the exclusive right to receive that authority from their parents.
Certainly having a unique outlook on the rights and responsibilities of both parents and children, he stated that attorneys that are just fighting for their client’s rights and not the children’s rights “makes his job easier.”
Me personally, I believe that our children derive all of their rights through their parents, but Dean Schreyer and I are closer on our perspectives than it appears. Harry Crouch, President of the National Coalition for Men, also stated to me that “Dean is one of the good guys.” I have to say that I agree and Attorney Dean is welcome back to the show anytime, in fact you can bet on it. Why? Because we have a theory that we are going to work out on the true nature of a contractual relationship between consenting adults that arises from the creation of our children! You definitely won’t want to miss that one!
If you haven’t checked out the site on Parental Rights by Attorney Dean Schreyer, you will want to as the concept and tips are pretty sound. He told me, it isn’t about the design, it’s about the content, and I agree. Here is his site: http://www.parentalrightsinfo.com/, and I have only touched on the tip of the iceberg, so be sure to listen to the episode and voice your comments.
One thing you will notice with Attorney Schreyer’s demeanor is that he isn’t afraid to differentiate between the crazy clients and the sane ones and how they interact with the system.

Lary,
Awesome podcast with Dean Schreyer, Family Law Attorney. He could have been a practising family attorney here in Australia as the concepts and themes are all the same…ex parte restraining orders are common garden divorce practice to secure advantage in proceedings.
Cheers
Chris
Good, as far as it goes. Dean Schreyer should also include divorce mediation as part of his program. I am a California attorney and have been a family law mediator since 1995. I have assisted hundreds of couples in working out a parenting plan in which both parents remain as active co-parents in their children’s lives after the divorce is final. In some cases the relatively non-involved parent [usually the father who had been working 60+ hours/week] steps up to the plate once that parent gains an understanding of how truly vital his role is in his children’s development. If you believe that only couples who are in basic agreement can mediate their divorce, you are incorrect. So long as neither party is abusing drugs [legal or street] or bent on revenge at any cost, and so long as both parties are of sound mind, mediation is quite effective in achieving results that both parties are satisfied with. In addition, mediation is significantly less expensive than collaborative divorce, which generally works on the team model of two attorneys, two psychologists or similar professionals, and two financial advisors, all of whom are present at most meetings.
It isn’t about “Reforming our Judiciary” it’s about holding them responsible and PUNISHING them for infringing on our RIGHTS!
