She discussed how her family successfully home schooled their two children and has now chosen to run for Governor of the great state of Texas. This was an interesting discussion with what appeared to be a regular every day American that you would meet on the street. We asked her questions pertaining to federal mandates and how they affect state policy, and she said she was interested “in pushing the federal government back!” She also supports US Congressman Pete Hoekstra’s House Joint Resolution 42, coined the ‘Parental Rights Amendment.”

Debra Medina is a true conservative and has been active in the Republican Party for 17 years. She has been married to her husband Noe for 26 years, and they have home schooled and raised two children into responsible adults.
